Kintsugi Spa Is Growing — Our Treatment Beds Are Becoming Four

Kintsugi Spa began as a very small massage studio.

When I first opened, I had only one treatment bed. At that time, I could only welcome a limited number of guests each day.

Over time, something beautiful happened.

Travelers visiting Fukuoka discovered our studio. Local guests began returning regularly. Some people found us through Google reviews, while others came through recommendations from friends.

Little by little, our small spa continued to grow.

Because of this support, we are happy to share that Kintsugi Spa will soon have four treatment beds.

However, even as the space grows, the philosophy of the spa will remain the same.

The name Kintsugi comes from the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Instead of hiding cracks, the repair becomes part of the object’s history and beauty.

This idea has always been meaningful to me.

Life can leave marks on all of us. We experience stress, fatigue, and sometimes emotional or physical pain.

But those experiences are also part of our story.

At Kintsugi Spa, we believe massage is not simply about fixing the body. It is about taking time to care for yourself and restore balance.

From the moment guests walk through our door until the moment they leave, we want the experience to feel calm, safe, and welcoming.

Our team shares this philosophy. Each therapist cares deeply about the comfort and wellbeing of our guests.

Even as Kintsugi Spa grows, we will continue focusing on what matters most: creating a peaceful space where people can pause, breathe, and take care of themselves.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our journey.
